Cycle Sandesh Yatra a 1300kms journey from Varanasi to Jammu in cycle was accomplished by our two brave Aagaman Volunteers Shri Raju Singh and Shri Shravan Singh ji. They cycled from here to Mata Vaishno Dham with the request to sweep out the evil of Female Foeticide and fill the gap of gender based discrimination.

 

On the way to their goal these both gentlemen were spreading the message of gender equality and avoiding the female foeticide. They shouted the slogan "Beti ko do jeeve ka adhikar" and completed their journey successfully. On their every stop they conducted public meetings discussing disadvantages of killing the girl child in her mothers womb.

 

Our organisation Aagaman Samajik Sanstha is working for eradication of the practise of female foeticide since 2001 , we conduct many awareness programs among common public, School colleges and hospitals etc. We do it to change the outlook towarards girl child. We are working for a whole hearted acceptance of girl child and to stop sex discrimination in our society. 

 

Bith the volunteer reached back in he city on 22 of July after completing their journey, in the city they were welcomed back by our Aagaman team with full excitment for their tremendous contribution. They were honoured with a little welcome pooja performed by batuks at Ram Mandir Khojwan and were gifted a Appreciation certificate.
