Aagaman Samajik Sanstha

The formation of Aagaman Samajik Sanstha was the result of a feeling of anguish and helplessness towards the ‘LET GO’ temprament settling deep down in the society.

Aagaman Samajik Sanstha was established in 1983 by a group of young people determined to fight back the ‘Take it for granted approach’ and serve the society in every possible way. These youths were very much disappointed that every one has accepted the life as it is going on and are afraid from the change. They even have stopped thinking that how much good a small change can cause for us and our society.

Moving ahead with this vision Aagaman started its first project working for AIDS eradication and People effected with AIDS. We were behind the first massive ‘Rally’organised at Varanasi city when a person was not ready to take the name of this desease in open. At that time Aagaman Samajik Santha came in front and started progating the basic knowledge about it.

Our society at later on adopted few HIV positive individuals and supported them in all ways. Also we councelled their family to accept them and be with them till their end.

Once on getting success in this issue Aagaman Samajik Sanstha became more determined in its path and then we stepped towards Child abuse, Child Labour, Domestic Violence, Female foeticide and other Social Malpractices.

We are always open for more and more helping hands joining us so that we could contribute in big scale in the real development of our country and society.
